Sippy Software's Pre-paid Calling Cards module, combined with Sippy Softswitch, is a complete solution for offering pre-paid card services that includes telephony service logic (Interactive Voice Response, IVR), web-based account creation and account management, a real-time rating engine, and a web-based customer self-care interface. This gives service providers an out-of-the-box solution for generating significant service revenues rapidly and cost-effectively.

Calling Card Solution

Our cutting-edge technology is helping new service providers launch the next generation of broadband communications. Existing TDM-based calling card service providers can benefit from Sippy Softswitch's all-software IVR design, a single interface for customer care, card recharging and administrative functions.

It also enables providers to extend their service by allowing existing residential and business SIP customers to access a VoIP network using a fixed line or a cellphone when necessary.

The Pre-paid Calling Cards module can be also integrated with any third-party softswitch that supports the SIP protocol.

Some key advantages of our calling card technology include:

  • Low cost per subscriber, high-performance. The module runs on commodity server hardware, eliminating the need for a costly and performance-limited hardware IVR platform.
  • Built-in multilingual support. Several languages — including English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Thai and Armenian — and their corresponding IVR prompt sets are available. More can easily be added.
  • Precise real-time balance enforcement with automatic call disconnect. The system monitors remaining credit time constantly and disconnects the call at the very moment the time runs out, ensuring zero calling-time leakage.
  • Support for online account recharge. Using a credit card or a PayPal account, subscribers can replenish their card balance quickly and conveniently via a self-care web interface.
  • Support for recharge vouchers. Allows account subscribers to top up their balances and/or extend the lifetime of their accounts.
  • Support for advanced features. Our technology supports several IVR-accessible advanced features that make the service more convenient and easy-to-use for the end subscriber, such as the ability to create speed-dial entries and associate a particular card with one or more phone numbers for faster authentication.
