Sippy Software's SIP Callback module, combined with
Sippy Softswitch, provides a
complete solution for VoIP providers who want to offer callback
services.
This solution lets providers extend their service by allowing
existing residential and business SIP customers to access a VoIP
network using a fixed line or mobile phone when necessary. It can
also be integrated with a third-party billing and/or SIP softswitch
system if desired.
The following callback methods are supported out of the box:
-
Web Callback. The user can trigger callback
by entering his own number and destination number via a web
page.
-
SMS Callback. The user can trigger callback
by sending SMS to a dedicated cellphone number.
-
E-Mail Callback. The user can trigger callback
by sending e-mail to a dedicated e-mail address.
-
ANI (DNIS) Callback. The user can trigger
callback by calling a dedicated (usually toll-free or local)
phone number.
-
XML-RPC Callback. The callback is triggered
by making XML-RPC call.
Further callback methods can be customized to accommodate different
needs and scenarios.
