Sippy Softswitch 1.6 (October 2008)
Version 1.6 of Sippy Softswitch has been released and is available
immediately to new and existing clients.
Release 1.6 of Softswitch continues Sippy Software's initiative of
offering ITSPs different VoIP products and services from a unified
platform. This major release delivers improved switching and billing
architecture, advanced routing and management features and a broader
set of supported business scenarios.
The major changes in the new release are:
- Routing logic enhancements. Call routing has
been greatly enhanced to improve flexibility and simplify system
management.
- Pre-paid billing engine improvements. The
pre-paid billing engine has been enhanced to accurately track
credit time when Account is making multiple calls at the same
time.
- XML-RPC API. Softswitch now offers XML-RPC
API, which can be used for integration into existing
infrastructure.
- Average Success Rate (ASR) and Average Call Duration
(ACD) reporting.
- Web-based accounts generator. Accounts
generator feature has been further enhanced by allowing the
interactive creation of a generation template via web
interface.
- Support for Commission Agent business scenario

aspects of the web interface have been enhanced to improve
flexibility and simplify management.
